(I just wrote an entire multiple paragraph post about the Lacy fam's new found love of brussel sprouts. Then I deleted it because it was completely boring and obsessive. Long story short, Peter exclaimed with delight when I pulled them from the oven, which was quite a departure from his expression six weeks ago. Sorry to disappoint anyone who would have liked to spend twenty minutes reading about the lil' suckers.)
I can't believe you deleted your "Brussels Sprouts" post...please recover it and repost again.
ReplyDeleteHave loved Brussels Sprouts since childhood...probably like them even more since I can be a contrarian and so many people DISlike them.
Ways to prepare: redwine vinegar, sugar (for a slightly sweet-n-sour taste) and bacon (NOT bacon bits...use the real thing); steamed with butter and a little sea salt; roasted in the oven with olive oil and maybe a little garlic.
